The Plan

One of the largest obstacles to connecting YWAM staff around the world, is the fact that nearly two-thirds of them live in places like South America, Sub-Saharan Africa and India. It is almost impossible to gain access to the Internet in these places. While thinking about this issue, I believe God gave me a plan for solving the problem. My plan is to use my connections with various non-profit organizations around America that use recycled computer parts to build refurbished computers for low income families and non-profit organizations. With this source of free computers, I will use other connections of mine with people in the satellite Internet business, to obtain affordable high-speed Internet access. With these two components, I will organize trips to YWAM ministry centers around the world, setting up computer labs, and teaching the staff members how to use the Internet to effectively communicate. It is my goal to start a replicable, multiplying process to insure that everyone in our mission, regardless of location or income, has the ability to access the world around them.
